                                            Sara Adams – Program Director
Drama Teacher and Performing Arts Coach

Sara Adams was drawn to the stage through dance and acting when she was 3 years old.  She pursued many adventures on the stage throughout her childhood and teen years.  When on the stage or being part of the team creating a show, Sara has always found a way to be involved with theatre and performing arts.  Sara has spent 15 years in the Kitsap County area.  With her love of theatre and 3 talented kids she became involved with different local community theatres, West Sound Academy, and InMotion Performing Arts.  Sara has directed and co-directed over 20 shows with performers ranging in age from 5 to 20.  Whether it’s teaching performance in the classroom, or directing performers in a full production Sara loves seeing the growth in performers as they work hard in classes and rehearsals and come alive on the stage in front of an audience.  The main focus for Sara when working with young performers is, “Every child deserves a chance to shine.  Each one can find the courage and the success in performance.”

Garrit Guadan- Vocal Coach

Originally from Port Orchard, Washington, Garrit has returned to the PNW after spending the last 12 years working in New York as an actor, singer, musician, composer, music director, and teacher. In his first New York performance, Garrit received critical acclaim as the gender-bending Fagin in the Drama Desk nominated off-Broadway musical Twist (MITF “Outstanding Actor in a Musical” nominee). He has toured internationally with the acclaimed Circus company Cirque Dreams, and had the honor of performing for our troops abroad. Favorite roles include the Waiter in She Loves Me, Pirelli in Sweeney Todd, Enjolras in Les Miserables, screlting the music of Freddie Mercury in the original tribute show The Four Piano Men, and providing the voice of Audrey 2 in Little Shop of Horrors under the direction of Emmy award nominee Donna Drake. He is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association, the Union for professional actors and stage managers.

He has worked as an audition and workshop accompanist with several New York casting directors, and his own students have gone to book shows regionally, on tour, and on Broadway. Garrit served as staff accompanist/music director and vocal coach for classes at Pace University for both the Dance and Acting departments. He is thrilled to be back where his love of theatre and music began, and to be involved in making a positive difference in the community through the arts!

Mr Garrit will also be available for vocal lessons and private audition prep workshops at the studio – inquire with the Office for booking availability.
