Drama Kids

Classes Start September 24th

Thursday 4:30 and 5:30

MEET OUR DIRECTOR: Sue Pargman began her theater education in an after-school program much like Drama Kids when she was just 8 years old. Shy and unable to speak clearly, the skills she learned in drama classes built self-confidence, creative thinking and public speaking skills which have served her well throughout her life. In 1977 she earned her BA from Cal State University at San Bernardino where she studied classical drama and creative writing. As a screenwriter for the Department of Defense, Sue researched and wrote the scripts for several of their training films. Since 1990, she’s been part of the local theater scene, writing, teaching, directing and acting. In 2000 she won first place in a national playwriting competition for children’s plays. “I’m excited to bring this quality enrichment program to families in our region,” says Sue. “In my years of teaching I’ve seen drama help children find their voices … ignite their imaginations … build character … and provide a sense of winsome playfulness while learning!”
